Apache 2.0.16 Released as a beta

Apache 2.0 betas are developer only releases with numerous bugs and new features. Guaranteed to give you the best rollercoaster ride of the year. For details download it or see the v2.0 CHANGES file. Note the .zip version is nearly identical. However, it offers sources in Dos/Windows CR/LF text and includes the Win32 .mak files.

Apache 1.3.19 Released

Apache 1.3.19 is a maintenance release with numerous bug fixes including some security fixes. For details, see the v1.3 CHANGES file.

Binary Releases

Are available in the binaries/ directory.
As of Apache 1.3.12 every binary distribution contains an install script. See README for details.

PGP Signatures

Many of the distribution kits have been digitally signed (using PGP) by the Apache Group members that constructed them. If so, there will be an accompanying distribution.asc file in the same directory as the distribution. The PGP keys can be found in the distribution directory at <http://www.apache.org/dist/KEYS>, and in the KEYS file after unpacking the distribution.

Contributory Patches/Modules/Code

Are available in the contrib/ directory.

Official Patches

When we have patches to a minor bug or two, or features which we haven't yet included in a new release, we will put them in the patches subdirectory so people can get access to it before we roll another complete release.

Unofficial patches (things we are not yet sure about including) are in the contributed patches directory.
